Hailey Morinico Receives the MAGLITE TOUGH award!

Hailey Morinico, better known as the girl-who-pushed-the-bear to those that have seen the viral video of her pushing a large bear off of her fence in her backyard to defend her dogs (some 100 million hits on the video and counting) was honored last week by Mag Instrument for her actions.

Mag Instrument made Hailey the first ever recipient of the “Maglite-Tough” Award.  Maglite flashlights, the tool of choice for safety and security professionals throughout the world, have long been known for their ruggedness, durability and performance under extreme conditions.  Hailey certainly embodied those same traits that have made Maglite famous when she rescued her dogs by shoving a bear off her backyard wall.
