Mag Instrument, Inc. was started in 1955 by the president and founder of the company, Anthony (Tony) Maglica. Mag was first housed in a small garage with only one employee, Mr. Maglica. Today, in contrast, the company’s operations are spread over 11 different buildings totaling some 700,000 square feet.

Human Resources Representative

Requirements:

  • Min. 2 yrs. experience in a Human Resources Department
  • Excellent communication and office skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word/Excel
  • Bilingual in Spanish/English
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred
  • Candidate must be able to work an early morning shift
  • Candidate must be able to work some Saturdays
  • Candidate must be flexible with all job assignments

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • General receptionist duties including applicant screening, tracking and maintaining system updates plus call answering/responding.
  • Maintain orderly file administration / Confidential Recordkeeping
  • Prepare daily time keeping batches for HRIS system processing,
  • Recruiting and New Hire Administration
  • Coordinate Employee events
  • Administer quarterly attendance audits
  • Maintain I-9 forms
  • Payroll distribution/Absence Line Monitoring
  • Other payroll, administrative and/or human resources related duties as assigned

Director of Premium/ Incentive Sales

Responsibilities:

  • Managing our ASI sales representative, distributors and National Accounts,
  • Strategic planning to identify growth markets and maximize opportunities within existing customer base as well as with new potential accounts,
  • Member of Corporate Sales and Marketing Team.

Qualified candidates will have:

  • Candidate must have 10 – 12 years of demonstrated successful sales experience in Premium/Incentive, Corporate Gift, and ASI Market.
  • Experience in promotional marketing, providing promotional products (programs to stimulate sales, motivate employees, and strengthen corporate identity).
  • Team player with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and close sales.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and written communication skills are a must.
  • Extensive travel to customer locations, trade shows, etc. is required.
  • Must have strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, E-mail and Internet.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Candidate must be detail oriented and possess strong analytical skills for reviewing point of sale data, reading, preparing and presenting management reports for internal use.
  • Must have strong internet skills with experience accessing and running reports from retailer sites. Candidate will also be required to assist in auditing various customer websites and databases for data accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal and written communication skills are a must.
  • A college degree is preferred for this position.
  • Must have advanced computer skills and be proficient using Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, E-mail and Internet.
