Summary/Objective

The Regional Sales Manager serves as Mag’s first line of contact with retail accounts throughout various classes of trade to include Hardware, Sporting Goods, Automotive, DIY, Grocery, Police and Security, etc. The candidate will be responsible for increasing market share through assigned accounts and/or territories, to identify opportunities within our existing customer base and to develop potential accounts by providing routine account business reviews.

Work Environment

Mag Instrument, Inc. is looking for a full-time AS400 Sr. Operations to service our Ontario, California location. This position requires the prospective candidate to perform day –to-day computer support in our data center.

Job summary:

Operates an IBM AS/400 & iSeries computer and attached peripheral devices such as high speed printers. Perform operator tasks such as print/distribute daily, weekly & monthly reports. Trouble shoots problems over the phone and desk side. Aggressively monitor the system for any termination of batch jobs, and system messages. Takes a lead role during problem determination and resolution of hardware and software related issues. Possess a detailed knowledge of the computer room environmental support and control systems.

The prospective candidate must be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and will be encouraged to continue developing their skills.

Description and Core Responsibilities include

  • Running batch jobs.
  • Setting up jobs within the Robot Scheduler, maintain and update current daily, weekly & month-end documentation.
  • Solid customer service skills working with Remote Desktop application and at desk side.

Job Functions
